Turtle Beach Campground is Sarasota County’s premier beachfront campground on Siesta Key. From sunrise to sunset, there is nothing like camping next to the Gulf of Mexico. This intimate campground features 39 RV and tent sites. Take the free open-air trolley into town and visit all that Siesta Village has to offer including restaurants, recreational rentals, sightseeing and more.


Reservation, Reschedules, Changes, No Shows and Cancellations

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted to turtlebeachcampground@scgov.net
  • All reservation reschedules, changes or cancellations, resulting in a refund, are subject to a $25.00 processing fee and any request received less than 48 hours prior to check-in time are subject to a fee equal to the nightly rate.
  • Reservations of a single night cancelled within 48hrs of check-in are nonrefundable.
  • Reschedule requests may be emailed to turtlebeachcampground@scgov.net or made over the phone (941) 861-2267.
  • Reschedule requests will be accepted prior to close of business up to two days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Guests are responsible for any price increase resulting from a reschedule. Availability for reschedule is not guaranteed.
  • No refunds shall be issued for early departures, late arrivals, inclement weather, or other environmental hazards.
  • Sliding Reservation: Sliding, advancing a campsite reservation beyond the allowed one year booking window, is not permitted. Once a campsite is reserved, a request for cancellation, reschedule, or change to an existing reservation will not be accepted until one year prior to the scheduled check out date.
  • No-Shows: Failure to arrive by 1 p.m. the day following your stated arrival date or not notifying the park by close of business on the reservation start date constitutes a no-show status. The site will then be released, and fees retained.

  • Turtle Beach Campground was established as a Gulf Beach Campground in 1921 and was acquired by Sarasota County in 2006.
